1947Instant camera demonstratedEdwin Land unveils one-step photographyOn 21 February 1947, Edwin Land demonstrated his one-step instant photographic process at a meeting of the Optical Society of America in New York. His process could produce a finished print in about a minute. The first Polaroid Land Camera went on sale in 1948.
