1762Russia and Prussia Sign Peace TreatyTreaty of Saint Petersburg ends Russo-Prussian hostilitiesEmperor Peter III signed a peace treaty with Frederick the Great of Prussia on 5 May 1762, returning all Russian conquests and withdrawing Russia from the Seven Years' War. The sudden reversal, after Russian troops had occupied Berlin's approaches, relieved pressure on an exhausted Prussia and is remembered as the Miracle of the House of Brandenburg.
