1963Great Train RobberyGang steals a fortune from a Royal Mail train in EnglandA gang of robbers stopped a Glasgow-to-London mail train in Buckinghamshire and stole over 2.6 million pounds, an enormous sum at the time. Most of the gang were later caught and given long prison sentences, though some evaded capture for years. The heist became one of Britain's most notorious crimes.
