1898 – 1935Wiley Post (1898-1935)Died 15 August 1935, aged 36Post was the first pilot to fly solo around the world, in 1933, and a pioneer of high-altitude flight and the pressure suit. He died in the Alaska crash that also killed Will Rogers.
