1864 – 1927Ion I. C. Brătianu (1864-1927)Died 24 November 1927, aged 63Ion I. C. Brătianu led the National Liberal Party and served five times as Prime Minister of Romania. He represented Romania at the Paris Peace Conference and was the leading figure in the creation of Greater Romania.
1927 – 2018Steve Ditko (1927-2018)Died 29 June 2018, aged 90American comic book artist and co-creator, with Stan Lee, of Spider-Man and Doctor Strange. His visual style helped define the look of Marvel Comics in the 1960s. He later withdrew from public life while continuing independent comics work.

No Indians were appointed to it. The Indian National Congress and other parties boycotted the commission, and protests against it spread across India.
1927Trotsky expelled from the Communist PartyStalin defeats the Left OppositionLeon Trotsky and Grigory Zinoviev were expelled from the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. The Fifteenth Party Congress in December confirmed the defeat of the Left Opposition. Stalin was left in control of the party, and Trotsky was sent into internal exile in Alma-Ata early the next year.

It was the first long underwater road tunnel with mechanical ventilation, which cleared vehicle exhaust. Its design became the model for later road tunnels.
