1846 – 1920Peter Carl Faberge (1846-1920)Died 24 September 1920, aged 74Russian jeweller famed for the ornate Faberge eggs he created for the Russian imperial family. He fled Russia after the Bolshevik Revolution and died in exile in Switzerland. His firm's work remains among the most celebrated in the history of decorative arts.
