1829 – 1894Anton Rubinstein (1829-1894)Died 20 November 1894, aged 64Rubinstein was a Russian pianist and composer who founded the Saint Petersburg Conservatory and was regarded as one of the greatest virtuoso pianists of his era. His pupils included Tchaikovsky. He died at Peterhof, near Saint Petersburg.

He died of kidney disease at Livadia Palace in Crimea. His son Nicholas II succeeded him as the last Tsar of Russia.

It was one of the first organized revolutionary groups of its kind and a forerunner of the alliance that later toppled the Qing in 1911. Sun would go on to become known as the father of modern China.
