1750 – 1816Francisco de Miranda (1750-1816)Died 14 July 1816, aged 66Known as "El Precursor," the Venezuelan revolutionary Francisco de Miranda fought in the American and French Revolutions before leading an early, unsuccessful attempt to liberate Venezuela from Spanish rule in 1806. Captured after the Spanish reconquest of Venezuela, he died in a prison cell in Cadiz, Spain.
1751 – 1816Richard Brinsley Sheridan (1751-1816)Died 7 July 1816, aged 64Sheridan was an Irish-born playwright and Whig politician best known for comedies such as The Rivals and The School for Scandal. He also served for decades as a Member of Parliament and co-owned the Drury Lane Theatre in London.
