1583Birth of Susanna ShakespeareWilliam and Anne's first child, Susanna, is baptised at Holy Trinity Church on 26 May 1583. She will later marry the physician John Hall and outlive her father. Shakespeare's relationship with his eldest daughter appears to have been close; he leaves her New Place and most of his estate in his will.
