1536Wittenberg Concord signedLutheran and south German theologians reach agreement on the EucharistMartin Luther and representatives of southern German and Swiss cities, led by Martin Bucer, signed the Wittenberg Concord, narrowing earlier disagreements over the nature of Christ's presence in the Eucharist. The agreement extended Lutheran unity further into southern Germany. Zurich's Reformed church, following Zwingli's teaching, did not accept it.
