• 1525 Severe Illness and First Visions Around Easter 1525, at the age of about 19, fell severely ill and began experiencing trances during which she claimed to receive divine revelations. Her visions included predictions of local events and impassioned pleas for people to remain faithful to the Catholic Church. The rector of Aldington, Richard Master, reported her case to the church authorities.
